I am a Chicago-based travel writer and photographer specializing in urban destinations and adventure travel.
I love writing (and talking) about my favorite topic- travel. I stumbled into writing almost accidentally while doing research for my own travels, soon I noticed I had amassed a large collection of information on cool places to shop, best local cuisine, affordable hotels, and interesting off the tourist track adventures. This information easily became the basis for a number of hopefully helpful travel articles.
It is also great fun to relieve my most memorable moments through writing and photography such as dog sledding on a volcanic glacier in Iceland, attending an all-night festival in the historic Xoxo cemetery of Oaxaca , hiking on Mt. Etna in Sicily or meeting the famous mask makers of Venice.
